Great Price. The TV cabinet that we have has an opening just right for this TV. Most other 30 inch TV's would not fit. Good picture even without HD hook up. It's very easy to change the picture size on the show you are watching.

Great Value, all the bells and whistles, super picture quality, bottom speakers so it fits where side speaker TV's won't! Only 185 watts power consumption. Better resolution than LCD,Toshiba Reliable!Cons:
Heavy...111.5 lbs, deep cabinet (but about the same as my older 27" tube type tv)Summary:
Great price, on sale at Best Buys $619.00! Fantastic value, super quality picture, near HDTV picture without HD tuner, digital quality when DVD playing, lots of features and custom options. Well written owners manual, easy to set up. Lots of hook up options on rear panel. Regular TV broadcasts can be rendered into wide screen format with great results. Speakers, on the bottom of set, unlike manyu others, and that makes it easiier to fit into tight wall units! Yet speakers have great sound, lots of setable sound features, synthetic surround sounds really good. Flat tube monitor, Toshiba reliability, made in brand new world class factory in Thailand. 1 year full in home warranty on everything, 2 years on picture tube also in home. Tube type HDTV televisions are a reliable, long life well known technology, where as Plasma and LCD are of unknown long term reliability. WE have had tube type monitors last 6 or 7 years running 24 hours a day at the University Hospital, LCD's have lasted less that 6 months running continually!
