Pros:
Picture is very good, pleasure to watch. Sound is very nice too. The look is classy, solid, simple and modern. All in one package.
Cons:
The viewer ideally has to view from right in front of it. Viewing from above or too much from a side makes the picture dark and difficult to view. I it could be affecting all CRT rear projection TVs.
Summary:
Great buy for the money. I was looking around quite a bit and I could not find a better deal on a 51' TV. If you are are reasonable about your needs, there is no need for anything more than this Toshiba. I would buy it again.

Summary:
This is a very good large screen projection TV monitor for those on a budget or just starting out with HDTV. Have been using it for mostly playing videogames & watching DVD movies. The image & color quality is excellent. The sound & speakers on the this are very good as well. The bass is deep enough to rumble the floor if you set it high enough. Watching TV on the other hand is a different experience. If watching channels in non HD, the images can look a little distorted & have that stretched look. However, for channels in HD, the image is clear and sharp. The screen does suffer from glare if placed in a area with a lot of light. The glare becomes very apparent when viewing from an angle. There is no internal TV tuner on this, so users will have to hook it up to a external device like a VCR, cable box, or satellite receiver to be able to watch TV. The TV weighs over 150 pounds, but there are removable wheels on the bottom & small handles on the side to allow movement. The remote that is included with the TV can be configured via code input to control multiple devices such as a DVD player, VCR or cable satellite box.
