Like all Nikon All Terrain Binoculars, the EX is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for total waterproof and fogproof performance in any environment.     Bought 2 weeks ago, I took it with me to Martha's Vineyard. Thanks to this binocular, I can see gorgeous scenery far away. 16X magnification is really helpful, what's more, big aperture makes people to see more. However, it it a little bit hard to get stabilized. Anyway I think it is a good binocular for air show and whale watching.
