The great thing about having a cordless drill is that you don't realize how you lived without one until you have it.
They're easy to use, drill fast and you'll never have your wrist hurt again from constantly turning that tough screw into the wall. They make drilling so easy you'll be looking for projects to do with these cordless drills. They have so much power that they can turn a screw or drill a hole in the hardest of material.
Some cordless drills, like the DeWalt DC988KA Heavy Duty XRP 1/2-inch 18 volt cordless drill, have all the power you'll probably need with a three-speed transmission that features a maximum third speed at 2000 RPM. It can even drill into masonry.
Another feature to look for in a cordless drill is an ergonomic soft handle that fits into your hand well and is comfortable. The Bosch 10.8V Cordless Litheon Impactor Fastening Driver PS40-2 is small enough to not weigh your hand down, and has a comfortable handle. It also has a spring-loaded impact mechanism to reduce user fatigue. And for working in dark areas, this cordless drill has LEDs to illuminate work areas.
When you first get a cordless drill, and after every time you use it, you'll have to plug it into an electrical outlet to charge it. Cordless drills use a fair amount of electricity, and having one that can store enough juice to get you through the next job is important. The Hitachi 18 Volt Ni-Cad 1/2-inch Cordless Drill Kit takes a good charge and has a fan-cooled motor for high power and improved durability. It's also a pretty cool looking cordless drill, when you get down to style.
If all you want out of a cordless drill is to use it mostly as a fast screwdriver around the house, then the cordless screwdriver by Skil is convenient to have. It's not so big that it has to be stored in the garage, and is a small enough cordless drill that it can sit on the kitchen counter all day without looking out of place. Or put it in a kitchen drawer for when you need screwdriver in a pinch. Heck, this cordless drill might even work as a keychain.
One last thing to think about when buying cordless drills: It may be worth the investment to buy a complete kit, such as the Allied 39025 178-piece tool set. It comes with an assortment of silver hand tools with blue grips, and it has enough screwdriver bits and adapters and sockets to keep your cordless drill busy for a long time.

Also when buy a cordless drill choose models with Lithium-Ion batteries, for example, this
replyhttp://www.world-tools.com/makita-bhp452hw-18-volt-cordless-hammer-drill. Lithium-ion batteries can be smaller and lighter, have a higher voltage and hold a charge much longer than other types of batteries.

Did Dewalt pay for this? Craftsman makes a set of 19.2 volt tools that will smoke all of these you listed and they have Lithium-Ion. They have sets with drill, driver, impact, circ saw, sawsall, and on and on.
