Celebrate Earth Day, show them that they can take steps to help save the planet. Whether big or small, we all leave an imprint that makes a lasting impact. Here's some fun helpful tips and suggested reading to help you get started. It's so easy even a child can do it!
Let's start with 3 simple ABCs to remember which will help make the switch a little easier.
Tip #1 Always Recycle
Even a very small child can learn which recycling bucket to toss the banana peel or milk jug. A colorful compost won't stand out in your already beautifully decorated kitchen.
Tip #2 Be Courteous and Reuse
Have kids pack their snacks in these fun lunch boxes which eliminate the use of plastic bags and juice boxes. Pack a tote along with that shopping list the next time you visit the grocery store. Give kid's art work a second life by reusing them to make birthday cards or wrap small gifts. Also the comics page from the newspaper makes a fun gift wrap. You May Also Like: Eco-Chic Shopping Totes
