Ghostbusters the Video Game

It has been 25 years since Ghostbusters the movie was entertaining crowded movie theaters, and on June 16, Ghostbusters is going to be hitting living rooms everywhere, this time in the form of games for XBOX 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, PC and Wii.

The new Ghostbusters game is going to be a big hit with those of us that grew up loving the Ghostbusters movie. At some point, you may have even wandered it would be like to be staring up at the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man? It's okay, you are probably not alone. The movie ranks as the 31st highest grossing film domestically in movie history. A lot of people have watched this movie, and typically more than once.
The new Ghostbusters game is from Atari, and sets the plot as being 2 years after Ghostbusters 2.

One of the things that most impresses me about the new Ghostbusters video game is that is being written by the same two writers that did the original Ghostbusters movie, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. Also lending the game a touch of familiarity is the voice work that Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson are adding to the project.

Join the team and investigate the latest influx of paranormal activity in Manhattan. Early reviews of the game, complete with some great screen shots and video, give you an idea of just how good this new Ghostbusters video game is thought to be.

This game is definitely going to deliver an experience that will be as powerful as the original movie. So the question is... "Who ya gonna call?"...Ghostbusters, of course!

And in case you were wondering... yes, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is waiting for you!

Atari has set a release day for the game of June 16, so get ready.
