Recently we took a look at various laptops on sale, so to be fair, I decided to write another article, this time taking a look at desktop computers on sale. Since desktops are typically a bit cheaper than laptops, you can find good deals all the time on these computers, but finding these computers on sale is always the best option!

Since Apple Computers are quickly gaining massive popularity and market share, we are going to start by looking at a really nice Apple computer on sale. One of the main attractions to Apple computers is their user friendly interface, and their resistance to many of the viruses and hang ups that their Windows based rivals incur. The Apple iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 24" computer is a fabulous machine, and finding these computers on same make them very affordable.

This Apple machine features 2.8 GHz processor speed, and a 320 GB hard drive. It comes with 2 GIG of RAM, but can be expanded to house up to 4 GIG total if you think that you need the speed boost, and let's be honest, we all need faster computers! Comes with an installed webcam and speakers, so you can video chat with all your friends online, or listen to your favorite music downloads, or your own personal musical creations. All around, this is a fabulous computer on sale for both existing Apple users, and those of you that are tempted to jump into the Apple revolution.

One of the oldest and most respected names in desktop computers is Dell. Dell computers are very reliable, and will last you many years as long as you take care of them, and do not download any nasty viruses online. The one negative to Dell is that some users have complained in the past that its customer service is a little lacking, but I have had to call up support before and have been satisfied with the service I received. The Dell Studio XPS computer is a strong desktop computer on sale for a very nice price.

The Dell XPS features an Intel Core i7 processor, and has a nice and big 640 GB hard drive. It comes to you from the factory with 4 GIG of RAM already installed, and if you feel like you really want your computer to fly, you can expand this all the way up to 12 GIG of RAM. This baby will definitely fly, and if it is reliability and speed you are after, then this is the computer for you!

The next computer on sale I want to look at is by Hewlett-Packard. I really like the touchsmart computers that HP is putting out, and the Hewlett-Packard Touchsmart IQ504 Computers are on sale right now for well under $1,000. The touchsmart computers put your computing power at your fingertips and with 4 GIG of RAM, you know this computer is as fast as you could want. The downside is that there is no room to expand this memory if you should discover that you want even more speed, but 4 GIG is pretty speedy. This computer is ideal for a home computer, but I am not sure how well this one is suited for an office environment. For people looking for computers to handle their internet surfing, email, photos, and videos, this is a great computer on sale.

Another big name in computers is Acer. Acer computers are typically a bit less expensive than most of its competitors, but we were still able to find these computers on sale for even better prices, giving us a great opportunity to pick up a really nice desktop for under $500. The Acer Veriton X270 Core 2 Duo computer is a great desktop computer that will handle all of your computing needs. Once again, I would recommend that these computers be used more for home use than an office setting, but do not understand that to mean these are not great computers. This particular Acer desktop computer has an Intel Core 2 Duo chip, with 2 GIG of RAM and a 160 GIG hard drive. You will be very pleased with this computer in your home.

Our final computer on sale to look at is a computer that I personally own, so I can speak to its quality and reliability: the Sony Vaio All in One Desktop computer. Unlike our previous 2 computers, this computer tends to be a little higher priced, so it is really nice when we can locate these computers on sale. Even on sale, you are still going to have to spend around $1,100 for them, but they are definitely worth every penny.

I have never experienced any problems with my Vaio, and as far as speed is concerned, it is faster than I need it to be. This computer has a super fast Core 2 Duo processor, and comes with a nice sized 320 GIG hard drive. This is more than what the typical user needs, and unless you are downloading thousands of songs and a lot of movies you will not need to worry about storage space. The screen has a nice black border that really makes the video come to life. For all you movie buffs out there, you can enjoy all your blue ray videos on this computer and you will love the display. Stay in touch with your friends and family with an integrated webcam that features face tracing technology. A fantastic computer.
