Similar to actual passports, the system really is the standard used for crossing borders (of language!) and you would feel totally stranded in an unfamiliar country if you found yourself without it. How does the Rosetta Stone System teach you a language so quickly and with such ease? The developers have a four-prong approach that helps you: Learn Naturally, Engage Interactively, Speak Confidently, and Have Fun. New languages continue to be released on top of the vast selection already offered. Currently, many of the versions are up to $75 off, as well. With technology and business making this wide world seem ever-smaller, becoming multilingual is almost a necessity for making connections and excelling in your career!

O and I wonder why they don't have any customers in the mall ? (they have one of the stand at the mall walkway (always empty ) why ? prices prices !
I did not speak a word of English when I first moved here. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work, but it is attainable.
Your comment about us foreingners need to stay within our community boundaries is unfound, and it lacks open mindness.
Not all of us want to stay blind folded. I am an example of that.
Open your mind, and you shall learn any language you set your heart to.
I come from an old 'steel mill' city in the Midwest where there was once OVER 100 different languages actively spoken. Rules in the mills were posted in 7-11 different languages. I used to love to hear all of these languages when at a grocery store as a young child. I still revel in the various sounds of the pronunciation of vowels, etc.
Lots of post-WWII dis-placed people came to our city - and they all had to learn English as adults - and they DID it!!! And English is one of the hardest languages to learn.
Personally, I LONG to own one of these products - I wish I had the income to afford it.
Warren, I suspect that you haven't tried very hard and that you might have a bit of closed minded thinking about learning a new language. These reasons will prevent you from learning no matter how good a product. The desire has to be there!
And not everyone learns a new language easily. Some folks find it easier than others, so don't blame the program if you find it difficult. It also requires work on the learner's part. I have learned quickly and easily with Rosetta Stone. And yes, it was worth every penny.
WHY PAY ANYTHING FOR IT, YOU CAN GET IT AT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY FOR NOTHING... ON YOUR COMPUTER AT THAT....L
