Trend Spotlight: Destroyed Denim

51Z4dU-2QGL._SS400_.jpgWhether you call it destroyed, ripped, distressed or shredded denim, the frayed look is here to stay - at least for another season. Available in varying degrees from just a little bit ripped to all-out annihilated, this rock-and-roll inspired trend is a great way to make any look a bit more edgy.

Skinny jeans are our favorite way to wear this look, lending a punk-chic pairing for everything from a t-shirt or plaid button down to a blazer. Pair them with ballet flats, rocker boots or sexy heels. Torn and faded boot cuts have more of a vintage grunge feel and look great with heels or ankle boots.

4. The black Tripp NYC Women's Ripped Knee Stretch Twill Pants ($44.95) flaunt their punk rock roots with edgy slits around the knee.
