She also launched her own jewelry line. Jennifer Fisher Jewelry has been worn in many feature films and hit television shows such as, Sex and the City the Movie, Entourage, The Hills, The L Word, Weeds, Ugly Betty, and Gossip Girl.

Jennifer was on the Emmy red carpet this year and shared her fashion hits and misses with us. I watched it all on TV, enjoying the fashion and glamour from the comfort of my couch and bring you my hits and misses too.

Check out our review of the 2009 Emmy red carpet, do you agree or disagree with us?

January Jones
HIT!

JF:
January Jones was a favorite in Versace. The modern, pink quartz silk satin evening gown with an embroidered glass beaded bustier with Neil Lane jewels was edgy but still very classy.
JP: I love January Jones on Mad Men and on the red carpet. The architectural shape and amazing detail in the bodice works beautifully with the flowing skirt.

Elizabeth Moss
MISS!

JF:
Elizabeth Moss looked a mess in the mauve Reem Acra ill fitting gown with the jeweled neckline. It was ill fitting and a poor choice of color.
JP: Elizabeth Moss looked more like the mother-of-the-bride, than an Emmy nominee in her Reem Acra gown.

Christina Hendrick
MISS!

JF:
Christina Hendrick's L'Wren Scott was unflattering and ill-fitting. A boring choice.
JP: Christina Hendrick's gown flaunted her curves, but the color was a snooze. I agree with you Jennifer, definitely a boring choice!

John Hamm
HIT!

JF: John Hamm is always debonair and handsome.
JP: John Hamm was born to wear a tuxedo. He looked suave and sophisticated.

'Mad Men' took home the Emmy for Best Drama Series. See what all the fuss is about, watch Season 1 and Season 2 of 'Mad Men' on DVD.

Blake Lively
HIT!

JF:
Blake Lively could have done without the halfway down her back braid- although the red Versace dress looked amazing. It was low cut, sexy and modern.
JP: In true Gossip Girl style, Blake Lively stuns in a super sexy, "look at me" red Versace dress. But her super long braid would have looked better on fellow Gossip Girl star, Leighton Meester. And I thought her makeup was a bit to natural for the event and the dress.

Leighton Meester
MISS!

JF: Leighton Meester in Bottega Venetta: The dark lip and kabuki-esque makeup was too harsh for the Grecian inspired white dress. The poof on the shoulders and layered hems was too overwhelming.
JP: I love that Leighton Meester takes risks with her fashion choices, but I don't always love her choices. The over-sized knots on her shoulders were distracting, and the uber dramatic make-up was a mis-match for the dress.

Victoria Rowell
MISS!

JF: Hands down worst dress of the evening was the Barack Obama monstrosity worn by Victoria Rowell.
JP: Someone forgot to let Victoria Rowell know that the red carpet is for fashion statements, not political statements.

Debra Messing & Mariska Hargitay
HIT!

JF:
Debra Messing in Michael Kors and Mariska Hargitay in Carolina Herrera and Fred Leighton jewels both looked stunning...effortless glamour!
JP: Mariska Hargitay shimmered beautifully in her metallic Carolina Herrera gown. No fashion victims found here! Debra Messing is always flawless, while her dress didn't wow me, she still looked gorgeous.

Kyra Sedgwick
MISS!

JF:
Not far behind was Kyra Sedgwick in the baffling L'Wren Scott mauve disaster paired with black heels...she must have gotten dressed in the dark.
JP: Kyra Sedgwick was a miss for me too. She looked like a bridesmaid who forgot to die her shoes to match the gown. The two best parts of her outfit were her Louboutin heels, and her date, husband Kevin Bacon.

Olivia Wilde
HIT!

JF:
I was also a huge fan of Olivia Wilde's dress, makeup and accessories. It may have been better suited for the runway than the Emmy's red carpet- definitely avant-gardes
JP: Olivia Wilde made a bold fashion statement in a one-shoulder, layered chiffon creation by Marchesa. The sheer panel worked beautifully in the front, but was a hot mess in the back, which featured an exposed zipper right down the middle of her back. The mesh back reminded me of an ice-skating get up, not a red carpet gown.

Padma Lakshmi
MISS!

JF:
I was surprised by Padma Lakshmi's purple one shoulder, rushed rose adorned Badgley Mischka get-up. I think she is beautiful and exotic and was so disappointed by her poor choice.
JP: Think of the red carpet like a reality show, and everyone is competing for best dressed... Padma Lakshmi just got eliminated. Please pack your dress and go!

Holly Hunter & Kristen Chenoweth
HIT!

JF:
Holly Hunter and Kristen Chenoweth looked amazing in diamond and silver metallic.
JP: These two petite gals glittered beautifully!

Sandra Oh
HIT!

JF:
Sandra Oh looked clean and radiant in gold metallic. She chose wisely with more minimalist hair and accessories, which in the past she has not.
JP: Sandra Oh was stunning in her gold column dress! I loved the pop of color, from her red shoes.

Christina Applegate
MISS!

JF:
The one person I was looking forward to seeing, who is one of my red carpet favorites, was Christina Applegate. I was spot on that she would wear deep blue- but was a bit surprised by the cutouts and beaded embellishments on her Basil Soda gown.
JP: Christina Applegate's gown was a mix of good and bad for me. I loved the color, the deep blue looked amazing on her. I liked the one-shoulder, but the beading around her middle was a miss for me, and the fit seemed a bit off.

JF: Overall a pretty uninspiring red carpet except for the great use of jewel tones and metallics. There were very few wow moments- and even fewer amazing jewels. Hands down my favorite designer was Versace who dressed January Jones and Blake Lively- modern edgy chic red carpet.
JP: I love seeing my favorite TV stars play dress up on the red carpet. Anna Torv from Fringe, was one of my surprise favorites, her dress was amazing! A few took risks, but most played it safe. I'm looking forward to the next red carpet, and seeing everyone kick up the glam factor.
