Faux fur is for faux ladies. Real fur is much warmer and lasts a life time, during which it could be restyled and or inlarged or made smaller etc.
If it weren't for fur, we wouldn't be here today. Just ask any caveman.

Fur does not last a lifetime. All those vain enough to buy a fur have to turn it in after 10 years for a newer, more current model. Their excuse??? Oh they're keeping those people employed who raise little animals in cages, skin them and make coats out of them. Obviously, no thought is given to the animals that grew the fur in the first place.

Real fur comes from farms where people make a living raising these animals. Lasts forever and is always much warmer and causes no pollution. Faux fur is manufactured in factories and there is a lot of pollution as with most man made materials. I suggest those of you that are against real fur vs. faux fur and all the man made fabrics you wear do some real research before you go around condemning those who are helping this world by being real.

You have no idea what they are doing to dogs,cats,rabbits on fur farms in China.They skin 2 million dogs and cats alive in China(the skin comes off easier if animal is still warm)Look at the undercover investigation videos that have surfaced.China has no animal welfare laws so they can do what ever they want.This is one of the only countries with no laws.I dare you to look up "animal cruelty-China" and watch one video.It is shocking.They are also labeling fake fur but its actually real fur dyed.Its cheaper than the fake.

They are skinning 2 million dogs and cats alive in China a year.The fur comes off faster if the body is still warm.I dare you to watch the under cover investigation videos.Go to "Animal cruelty-China" and see what is happening .They are using dog fur dyed and calling it fake because its cheaper.It is totally shocking.China has no animal welfare laws.I am not a Peta freak but theses videos will shock you>I dare you to watch!

Are you thick in the head for thinking that animal fur farms cause no polution?!?!?!?!?!?!??! Maybe you should read up on that before you say stupid things. I can bet that if the majority of people spent a day on a fur farm and saw the conditions that those animals live in and the way they are killed, most people wouldn't give a penny for that!! Faux fur does not involve killing innocent beings for their skins. That fur belongs to the animal, not some vain furbearing person. Animals raised for fur are kept in tiny filty cramped cages and are then anally electrocuted for their fur. Sound rather inhumane to me. I will stick to no fur or faux fur.

Faux fur is not warm. Faux fur can never compare to the softness of natural fur.
Faux fur uses a lot of energy to produce and the processes produce polution. Who was the genius that thought that faux fur was ecologically sound?
The farmed animals have natural fur, which is warmer and beautiful and lasting.
It's great that a lot of people have been brainwashed. Genuine fur is more affordable
for the rest of us.

For people that are worried about rodents that are raised for their fur, I hope they are so humane that they are against Pro Choice which kills human babies. And they should not fly on airplanes because parts are made with animal products. And of course they should be total vegetarians and never wear leather shoes, belts etc.

First of all, a *lot* of fur (you can research this) comes from China where they slaughter *cats & dogs* under the most horrific conditions, sometimes while they are still alive! Even if you know what you're getting, it is still sick, cruel, and *very* dangerous for the environment from the chemicals they use to treat it. Vanity is not justified by Cruelty ! But, hey, whatever it takes for some hateful, selfish airhead to feel "pretty". And before you accuse me a being a hypocrite, I'm also a vegetarian.
