Hottest Shopping Searches for 2009
It's hard to believe that 2009 is quickly coming to a close. What a year it was! Our friends at
AOL Search in the U.K. put together a list of the 10 hottest shopping terms of '09. It seems like what was popular across the pond was hot here too. So, let's take a trip down memory lane and reflect on the hottest products of the year...
1. Apple iPhone 3GS
What makes it so hot? Since its July release, Apple users have raved about its faster performance and superior battery life.
2. UGG Handbags
UGG boots are still popular but this year was all about the UGG handbags. I like them more than the shoes!
3. Nintendo DSi
This is the perfect portable gaming system for kids and adults. You can also take photos, record your voice and surf the web. One word: awesome!
4. Wii Sports Resort
Wii Sports Resort is the sequel to the ever-popular Wii Sports. If you liked playing bowling, boxing and tennis, then you'll
love playing a dozen sports-based activities such as archery, basketball, biking, canoeing, golf, jet skiing, skydiving, sword fighting, table tennis, water skiing, and flying disc games. It makes a great Christmas present.

5. Michael Jackson Tickets
Before his untimely death on June 25, people were hyped about his comeback concert tour. Unfortunately, he passed away before we were able to see the King of Pop's resurgence onto the music scene but his
music still lives on.
6. Harem Pants
What was once popular in the '80s is back. These McHammer-like pants were big in '09.
7. Windows 7
It's the successor to Microsoft Vista. Users will find many upgrades and new features that will make their computer faster and easier to use.
8. High Waist Jeans
Think Jessica Simpson (circa earlier this summer). Need we say more?
9. Hannah Montana Dolls
Just because Miley Cyrus is no longer filming Hannah Montana doesn't mean that it's not popular. Little girls are still fixated on everything Hannah Montana related including dolls, posters and t-shirts.
10. Crocs
Love 'em or hate 'em, but it seems like Crocs are here to stay (at least until something else comes out). From kids to adults, many people rocked them with their outfits.
