Healthy, Easy Organic Snacks for Kids (Moms, Too!)

While we're not a totally organic family, I'm trying harder and harder to make natural and healthy choices for my family in terms of what we eat. The more educated I become on how many toxins my children are exposed to on a daily basis, the more important it is for me to make the right choices for them. That includes food and healthy snacks that they'll love and eat.

I recently became a Parent Ambassador for Healthy Child, Healthy World - a non-profit organization devoted to expanding global understanding about environmental hazards that are hazardous to children that unfortunately exist in today's modern world. Being a part of something so awesome, I've been learning about better products and choices I can make. Lately, here are a few of the snacks and items I pack for my kids on a regular basis:

Luna Bars. I'm actually pretty obsessed with these myself (Chocolate Peppermint Stick is my favorite!) My kids love most of the flavors and one full bar is only around 180 calories so these make great snacks for Moms too. The minis are great to have on hand as well as each mini is the size of one half of a full bar. Luna Bars are 70% organic.

Clif makes Clif Kid Twisted Fruit Roll Ups
. My kids can't get enough of these. (Clif are the same makers of the Clif Bar) These Clif Kid twists are all organic and each one contains a full fruit serving! Such a great alternative to a fruit roll up.

Clif also makes the Clif Kid Zbar, which is all organic and geared towards kids so it has nutrients important to a growing body.
