Lunch Boxes: A Back to School Necessity

The upcoming school year is rapidly approaching and that means a few things when it comes to shopping: 1. Back to school clothing; 2. Back to school supplies; and 3. Back to school lunch boxes.

Okay, so that latter may not be a requirement, but having a snazzy lunch box is not only fun, but it's also practical. And because there's such a vast array of lunch boxes to choose from, you can show off your personal style with the type of lunch box you (or your kiddos) carry their tasty meals in.

From old school, tin reproductions plastered with super heros, cartoons and TV characters to simple, more chic-looking bags for those who want to make a quiet statement, there's something for everyone. In fact, you can choose from lunch boxes that sport your favorite team, favorite animal or hey, even your favorite color.

When selecting a lunch bag, all we ask is that you consider the quality and amount of space you'll need. For example, a large lunch box may be necessary if you're a soup person (you'll need a place to keep your thermal bottle) or if you like to organize your lunch in reusable plastic containers that take up more room. As for quality, that's a no-brainer. You'll want to make sure your lunch box can keep your cold foods cold and your hot foods hot.

Check out some of our favorite lunch boxes and bags below. And if you have a favorite that isn't listed, feel free to share it with us in the comments below.
