Oscar Rodriguez from Kohler talks about emerging
designs in bath, particularly the contemporary and modern look that is all the rage across Europe and also growing in popularity across larger cities nationwide. It's all about clean lines and aesthetics. Take the toilet on the right, for example. It's quite simple in form, and therefore very sleek -- function meets art. This toilet has corresponding bathroom fixtures from the same
Kohler Purist Collection, so that you can coordinate your entire contemporary bathroom, if you wish. Kohler offers a handful of products in the same style for this reason. Otherwise, adding splashes of the clean and contemporary can also update your bathroom. Watch our video to see the hatbox toilet in action and other sleek, European design trends that Kohler is moving towards.
The clean designs of Kohler's bath fixtures can work well in more traditional and classic homes, too, not just ultra-contemporary ones. And the reason is, the shapes are simple in form, and there are a smattering of styles to choose from. Kohler has created designs for every element of your bathroom from
assertive faucets with strong architectural lines and water-saving technology (the
Stance Faucet Collection boasts this water-saving new design trend), to
artistic undercounter lavatories, to smooth
wading pool lavatories, to articulating lavatory faucets (the
Karbon faucet has two pivoting joints), to
geometric sinks like Rêve, to water-saving toilets with dual-flush (like the
Saile elongated one-piece toilet or more affordable
Persuade two-piece toilet), to modern
lighting elements, and more. You can check out
Kohler's website for more information, or shop AOL Shopping's page for

This is a really cool idea. I'm all about updating my bathroom, but I must say that for now I'm going to keep my vintage shower. But I love the fixtures featured here!
