Veronica's Review
{
Pros } Alba Botanica Natural ACNEdote Deep Pore Wash is very gentle (Organic Green Tea Extract and Lemon Balm are just a few ingredients). I was pleased that it didn't dry out my skin like other acne washes that I've used and it has a refreshing scent.
{ Best Uses } If you're experiencing a bad case of acne, you should use it in the morning and at night. However, if your skin condition isn't that severe, you can probably get away with using it once a day.
{ Application Tips } Just apply a small amount onto your wet face, massage into a foamy lather and then rinse thoroughly. Repeat once or twice a day.
{ Would You Buy it for Yourself } At under $10, the price can't be beat. I'd definitely buy it myself. See why this is my new favorite favorite skincare product >>
{ Final Thoughts } I've heard so many good things about the Alba Botanica brand, so I was excited to try out their new natural acne wash. Overall, it lived up to my expectations. I noticed clearer skin in a little over a week (not exactly 7 days as they claim but close enough) and it smelled amazing. I'm tempted to try other products in this line!

Gen's Review
{ Pros } Aubrey Organics NuStyle Organic Hair-Smoothing Serum made my hair so smooth andless frizzy and gave it a nice shine. It also smells so good!
{ Best Uses } I used it before flat-ironing my hair. The box says you can also use it as a deep-conditioning treatment to revitalize dry, damaged hair and split ends. My purpose with this product was to protect my hair from heat damage and to take the waves out of my hair, but it's nice t know that you can get two uses out of this product.
{ Application Tips } I put a quarter's worth into my palm and applied it to my dry hair. I followed the directions on the box and started from the ends of my strands and worked my way up. Then, I flat-ironed my hair like normal.
{ Would You Buy it for Yourself } Yes! The price ($21) is comparable to the hair serum that I usually use. I love that unlike my regular serum, this one is travel friendly (it comes in a 1.7 oz bottle), which is super convenient.
{ Final Thoughts } I really like this styling product. I only wish that it came in a pump bottle. I'm used to that from my other serum. It's nice not having to put the serum on your hands--not that this serum is sticky or unpleasant at all, but spraying your hair is easier. This product features organic quinoa protein, which I learned helps to smooth hair fiber to prevent frizzing and add shine. It's also got organic jojoba oil which works to moisturize and nourish hair. And being organic, this product is great for all of you who are concerned with chemicals and formaldehyde. It's got none of that!

Marquette's Review
{
Pros } The NEW StriVectin-SD Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles goes on very easily and is easy to include in your morning and night time beauty rituals.
{ Best Uses } For eye wrinkles.
{ Application Tips } When you are applying the eye concentrate to the area around your eyes, make sure to not get the concentrate in your eyes. I accidently got a little in my eyes and was tearing up for a few hours.
{ Would You Buy it for Yourself } Yes.
{ Final Thoughts } StriVectin is well known for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. I noticed a very subtle difference in the fine lines around my eyes. After using StriVectin night and day for 4 weeks, the fine lines around my eyes are less visible. This product is $59 which is right in line for the price of eye creams.

Gina's Review
{
Pros } The Vichy Cellu Destock is affordable at under $30, it feels great on the skin (a cool tingling sensation!), it smells minty, and one bottle lasts you a long time.
{ Best Uses } For cellulite on the thighs, hips and butt.
{ Application Tips } A little goes a long way. I squeezed under a quarter-size of the stuff into my palm to rub onto my thighs and hips (mostly the backs of my thighs) after a shower every night before bed, and that routine served me well. It absorbs better that way. Now, I will say that the product leaves you feeling a bit sticky, so wash your hands after application and let yourself air dry as you sleep.
{ Would You Buy it for Yourself } Yes -- it's so affordable, and it's never too early to begin the battle against cellulite.
{ Final Thoughts } I love the way it made my thighs feel smoother and more toned after the layer of application dried. The scent and tingling sensation with each application made me feel like it was less of a chore and more of a self-pamper session. Now, while I do have cellulite (as the majority of women do), it's mostly localized to the backs of my thighs and I just don't have as much of it. But, I can tell you that after four weeks of nightly use, I saw a slight difference in my own thighs. They felt a bit tighter (I didn't even exercise regularly during this period), and had just a bit less of that subtle "cottage cheese" dimpling that is so characteristic of cellulite. All in all, Vichy's Cellu Destock seems like it gave me that head-start to help diminish the appearance of cellulite by giving my legs a more even tone within four weeks, as it claimed it would. I would be curious to see how this product does over a longer term, and how quickly and effectively it would work on someone with much more visible cellulite.

Clare's Review
{
Pros } I agree with Vichy's claims of "Pro-Radiance transformation visible in 1 minute" and I think we have the serum's "micro-pigments and mother of pearl to even out skin tone and give skin instant radiance" to thank for that. Vichy Liftactiv CXP Total Serum also has a great smell, not something I need to have in my skincare, but definitely a plus. Just keep in mind to go light on the application or it can be overwhelming if you are not a fragrance fanatic, like me. Vichy claims that you will see +33% firmness in 4 hours (*Self-assessment by 52 women.) and I absolutely feel a little tightening within 15 minutes of using the product.
{ Best Uses } The serum is for all skin types and although it seems to be targeted to the mid-life set, I think the 30s (of which I'm a participant) is not too early to start preventive measures. Better to be offensive rather then defensive when it comes to anti-aging. LiftActiv CxP Total Serum is in the face care section of Vichy's Web site, but don't be afraid to use it on your neck and décolletage as well.
{ Application Tips } A little goes a long way - start with a pump or two (I love the clean packaging and pump dispenser) to see how much coverage you get and go from there. Too much and you may get the sense of too much dewiness (borderline clammy) which is not ideal.
{ Would You Buy it for Yourself } It has the higher price point that comes with a prestige brand -- so it would definitely be a beauty splurge for me. But, hopefully, it would pay me back by holding off mother nature for just a little bit longer.
{ Final Thoughts } I'm intrigued by Vichy's claim of "Ingredient Innovation: Combines Vitamin C with Monosaccharide R which identifies and attaches to the receptors of fibroblasts like a micro-magnet. PureVitamin C is is released directly into fibroblasts to trigger powerful, targeted cellular action." Can't wait to see if I have less wrinkles around my eyes in a month - but I'm enjoying the little bit of added glow and knowing I'm giving my skin some healthy vitamin C for now.

Elaine's Review
{ Pros } The FAB (First Aid Beauty) Gentle Body Wash and the
Body Moisturizer
are under $20 and are non-scented -- completely!
{ Best Uses } All over, for the body wash. On hands/cuticles and feet, for the moisturizer.
{ Application Tips } Apply the lotion right after you shower, it tends to moisturize more that way!
{ Would You Buy it for Yourself } Most certainly! I would definitely recommend it to friends and family, too.
{ Final Thoughts } The Body Wash claims to prevent dryness, be fragrance free, allergy-tested and free of harsh chemicals. I can attest -- as someone who has very sensitive allergies to many scents and also has dry skin -- that this product does what it says. Often times, scented body washes will leave me sneezing and puffy-eyed for hours, that was never the case here. The FAB Body Wash did not irritate my eyes (even when I accidentally got some in one eye!) and was a gentle moisturizing cleanser. It foams up nicely on the loofah and left my skin feeling soft.

Since I am also a self-proclaimed "lotion hound" I use lotion on a daily basis to moisturize my legs, hands and arms. I can use very few scented lotions due to my sensitivity to fragrances of any type. To finally find a lotion that truly did not have a scent (many claim to be unscented, but then still carry a scent that I often associate with a hospital or cheap lotion) and actually did provide great moisture was fantastic! The body moisturizer claims to moisturize even the most sensitive and rough skin types so I decided to really put it to the test. Not only did I use this for my normal regimen of arms, legs, hands, but I also tried it on the soles of my feet, which are consistently dry and cracked. Was I impressed!!! After only a few days of use, the soles of my feet were drastically improved. I would highly recommend both products and feel that they both live up to their claims of being fragrance free, moisturizing and nourishing to the skin.

    People have ALWAYS been hungry. It has been that way for years and years and will not change overnight . What's wrong with taking care of yourself and having pride in your appearance???? Preety women stay that way because they work at it and use quality skin care and cosmetics to keep them that way!

    Ok, let'e be honest here.

    Look at the angles in the pictures, the lighting and so on in the before and after. Notice where the shadow is and where the highlight is? This goes to prove you can't believe everything you see.

    I have been using the StriVectin cream for 2 weeks. They had a freebie giveaway, so I thought I would try it. I LOVE this stuff. It absolutely does help with fine lines and wrinkles and works well under makeup so I can use it during the day as well. And yes, it is a little expensive, but I am a picky person and I don't waste money on products that I can't try first, or ones that don't work great. I will definitely buy more when my sample tube runs out. As for the others, I haven't tried any of them and I probably won't unless they offer a freebie!
