New Fragrances for Women & Men

Don't you just love to receive a new perfume or cologne? I know I do! In fact, about a month ago, visited Macy's and purchased Hanae Mori. It smells light and fruity and is not too overwhelming. It's become my new favorite scent. But, once the bottle is empty, I'm not sure which perfumes I'd like to try next. Of course there are a few favorites (ie. Beyonce's Heat) but not a finalist. There are just so many new perfumes to choose from.

While I was in Macy's shopping for perfume, I also helped a friend pick out a new cologne. This was just as tricky but a few signature scents stood high above the rest. Check out my picks of the best new fragrances for women and men. If you know someone who's a fan of these brands, you can't go wrong with gifting them with one of these new scents.

For Women:

Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia (from $74.99)
Type of Scent: Fruity
What It Smell Like: fresh citruses to a floral heart which encompasses aquatic jasmine, dewy peony and pink pepper, while a base closes with cedar, yellow sugar and labdanum.

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist (from $54.99)
Type of Scent: Fruity
What It Smell Like Lily of the Valley, suede notes, bergamot, ylang, jasmine maroc, sandalwood, orris, amber, vanilla, cedarwood, patchouli and musk.

Vera Wang Anniversary (from $74.99)
Type of Scent: Floral/Woodsy
What It Smell Like: Bergamot, Red Apple Leaves, Mandarin, Cool Dew Drops, White Gardenia, Rose Absolute, Orange Flowers, Musk, Orris, Amber and Cedarwood.




For Men:

Bleu de Chanel (from $57.79)
Type of Scent: Woodsy
What It Smell Like: labdanum, nutmeg, ginger, sandalwood, patchouli, mint, jasmine, grapefruit, citruses, vetiver, incense, cedar and pink pepper.

Pure Nautica (from $33)
Type of Scent: Woodsy
What It Smell Like: mandarin oranges, sea notes and bergamot.

D & G The One Gentleman (from $59.95)
Type of Scent: Smoky
What It Smell Like: grapefruit, apple and pepper leading to sophisticated lavender and patchouli notes, blended with a base of rich cedar wood and vanilla.
