Angry Birds Plush Toys: Will This Soar to the Top Too?

New to Toys R Us are plush toys from... yes, Angry Birds, the seriously addicting phone app/game. It's hard to believe that the game came out two years ago because it's still so so popular, having been downloaded more than 100 million times! Well, these Angry Birds plush toys ($9.99) come complete with sound effects from the game. Choose from the 5 inch or 8 inch birds, in red, yellow, black, blue or white. Also available are the Angry Birds Backpack Clips ($5.99) and the Green Pig Plush Toy ($9.99). Fans of the game, are you interested in these? Tell me--I'm curious! I wonder if it'll have the power to be a collectible.

The makers of Angry Birds are surely taking full advantage of the game's popularity. Also set to release is the Angry Birds Knock on Wood Game, which has the same concept as the app/game. Players win points by launching a bird and knocking out the pigs. The $16.99 game is available for pre-order at Toys R Us.

The newest Angry Birds app/game is Angry Birds Rio, which incorporates the story line of the new animated movie coming out April 15 called Rio. In just 10 days, the app/game has been downloaded 10 million times! Check out the Rio movie premiere, which hits theaters next Friday.
