Extreme Wedge Sandals

I have not been shy about saying how much I love wearing flat shoes. I wear flats all year round. Ballet flats in the fall, flat boots in the winter, and flat sandals in the spring and summer. But recently, wedge sandals have piqued my interest and I am not just talking any wedges. For some reason the higher, more extreme the wedge the more cool I think that they are.

Here are 8 pairs of extreme wedges that are sure to add a lot of vavoom to any ensemble.

What do you think? Would you wear any of these wedges? Let us know below or tell us on Facebook!

These and ALL wedges are the ugliest shoes ever made and I will never wear them. I also wear flats about half the time, and the other times I wear heels with at least a 3 inch heel. In my circle of female friends and office workers we all agree that wedges look terrible, even the higher ones. There is no style to them and the wedge iotself looks clumbsy and heavy, bringing attention to a woman's legs in a very unflattering way. Heels with jeans, heels with pants, heels with dreses or skirts make a woman feel and look much slimmer and taller, but when these same women wear these hideous wedge shoes they look shorter and 50 pounds heavier. Stylish flats are much more becoming than these ugly creations as they do remind me of monster or moon boots. Want sexy and comfort all in one, then wear a pair of black ballerina shoes and enjoy the best of both worlds. Just think how ugly and stupid Dolly Parton would look in wedge shoes?
