Even with Oprah Winfrey stepping down from her daytime talk show, if she encourages us to do do something, we do it. Why? It's because we trust her advice like a best girlfriend who we feel like we've known for forever. A word of even the slightest endorsement from the ever-influential Ms. Winfrey and a fad begins. If it's a product she likes, or several as in the case of "Oprah's Favorite Things," then you can expect those products to start flying off the shelves the very same day as her announcement! Oprah certainly spells "success" for many people and businesses.
One of Oprah's most recent bits of enthusiastic advice is helping her dermatologist (of about a year now) to expand his skincare business by making it available to the masses. His name is Dr. Harold Lancer and a handful of products from his Oprah-approved
Lancer Skincare line is exclusively sold at Nordstrom. The line features a three-step system for everyday skin health as well as supplemental products for targeted treatment. Dr. Lancer's skincare products aren't so chichi that they'd put you out a couple hundred each, but they will cost you a pretty penny. Actually, it's more like 5,000 or 10,000 pennies! Yes, the Lancer Skincare "Polish" (Step 1) and "Cleanse" (Step 2) each go for $50 while "Nourish" (Step 3) goes for $100. Not as affordable as Oil of Olay, but also not as pricey as those European varieties.
Are
Lancer's skincare products worth it? Oprah certainly seems to think so. And, judging from Oprah's beautiful complexion, so do we! Check out the three basics that will make your skin camera-ready faster than you can say "I love Oprah Winfrey!"
