Fall Trend Watch: Colored Denim
Each fashion season there is always an item or two or three that leaves me scratching my head and wondering, why, why why.Fall's fashion "why?" for me is most definitely colored denim. Colored denim like these J Brand skinny jeans, featured on the right, are supposed to be one of the hottest trends for fall, but what do you think? Will you be picking up a pair of colored denim to add to your jean arsenal this fall?
When it comes to denim I am fairly conservative. Although they have been around forever, I still favor a nice pair of bootcut jeans and it took me several seasons to finally get used to the whole skinny jeans trend (which I now love, by the way.)
Maybe in a few months (or years time) I will be eating my words, but for now the whole colored denim trend is something that I say big "no way" to. What do you say? Will you be wearing colored denim this fall? Leave a comment below.

I already bought green and purple skinny jeans by Gloria Vanderbilt..I love them and intend to get the brown as well. These will add to my collection of boot cut DKNY jeans.

In the early eighties the colored jean look was also popular with the bunched up hem line and high heels...what goes around comes around xo

As usual, all examples are shown on a size 0 model, which of course looks great. Red skinny jeans on a size 18... not so much....

I did buy a few pastel denim capris for summer; the powder blue & lavender aren't too bad when paired with floral or other tops, but the coral seems awfully 'loud'...if they're doing red & other garish colors this fall, "not so much!" Much prefer black & dark blue...more slenderizing, anyway!

SO COLORED DENIM IS THE BEST THEY CAN DO. WOW AND YIPEE! EVERY 13 YEAR OLD SHOULD HAVE THEM. WHAT CRAP!

I like the Blue, Powder Blue, Pastel, Green, and Purple, Brown, for Jeans, or Capri's, but not Red anymore, or Pink, or Orange. GIGI
