Jessica Simpson Platform Pumps

"When you think of comfortable shoes, usually 4 1/2 inch pumps do not come to mind. However, I swear by my Jessica Simpson platform pumps. According to several interviews, she makes her shoes to be worn for long periods of time. This means she not only includes padded inserts for every shoe, but they are structurally designed to be more comfortable. My favorite pair can be worn for hours on end!"

-Genevieve, 25, Alabama

Cole Haan Air Lainey Pumps

Manolo Blahnik Suede Flower Pumps
$645

"The most comfortable heels I own are the Manolo Blahnik Suede Flower Pumps, which retail for $645. These soft, suede shoes mold to my feet when I'm wearing them, and they don't rub my heals or toes. The pointed toe feels roomy and does not pinch my toes when I'm walking."

-Susan, 34, Nevada

Talbots Kitten Heel Slingbacks

"Heels are often horribly painful. We force a smile and swear they are "surprisingly comfortable" when someone asks but we are lying through our teeth. BUT, the lie becomes 90% true about Talbots kitten-heel slings. Its short but sexy stature supports your arch while sexing up any outfit."

What I love most about these shoes, is that I can walk all day in them and not have one blister. Not many heels will do that for you. They have just the right heel height, which contours your legs perfectly when you opt to wear a skirt to work. I love the comfort, as well as elegance of these shoes."

-China

Yeah, they make you feel like you're walking on air.

And, when you're older and having back problems and the other resultant health concerns because of wearing this idiotic foot gear, remind yourself how comfortable they were to wear while inflicting that damage on yourself.

And when you're going to the podiatrist for foot care and toe surgeries because of wearing these shoes, you'll wish you hadn't been so "foolisly fashionable." Take it from one who knows!

High heeled shoes are absurd. It is not natural to walk about on one's toes, nor for one's foot to be supported by a stiletto sized heel.

High heels ruin women's feet and hinder natural movement. (God help the high heeled woman who faces a dangerous situation which calls for her to run.)

When wearing high heels, females are in all truth a limited, weaker sex. And, wonder of wonders, they choose to do it to themselves.

Some things, thru sheer foolishness, fall into the Emperor's Clothes Category - like high heels. The wearing of them is utterly ridiculous, and yet the fashion continues because women buy them.

    But not this woman.

well you are entitled to your opinion and to do as you see fit for YOUR life and YOUR feet.....i do not think that the fact that some of us women like to wear high heels makes us either foolish or weak....u seem to be dead set with what you believe and who am i to try to change that but i couldnt resist the urge to say even as i sit with my high heels on right now, not only am i still very smart, beautiful and strong, i can walk, i can do activities and most of all i can exercise my free will....do what you must with your life but don't resort to trying to tear down women who make other choices than you.

I have SUCH a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable on my feet. I don't know what it is, but I struggle with this. And then if I do find a good pair they're usually uber expensive. I'm always checking on SaveCreatively for good coupons and promos which is great because they've always got something good!

Well, hon, you are going to look fantastic in tennis shoes when you need to wear a suit, a dress or attend a formal occasion. Variety is the spice of life. What do you think when you see people who only wear Birkenstock's with e v e r y t h i n g?

I purchase a lot of wedges, but not chunk ones like the Steve Madden's above. They usually feel much more stable than high heels. And I can even run in some of my boots with wedge heels. Those Jessica Simpson Platform Pumps do look nice, though. I would definitely purchase them if they're as comfortable as claimed.

Stilettos belong on hookers and strippers. And they for darn sure don't belong in the work place. You will never see a high ranking female executive in stilettos. It's a shame so many women now a days lack class and have no idea how to dress appropriately for the occasion.

Well, as one of the other responders said "don't criticize others just because YOU don't agree or can't handle it!" As a high school teacher (with my Masters from COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY!), I always wear high heels--stilettos, boots w/ high heels--and my students appreciated that I dressed appropriately, classic, and classy. And I was also known to have chased a student down the hall for a "misdemeanor"--and had no problems catching him--and my students were in awe that discipline was paramount in my classes--as well as style (NOT fad)
So the old saying "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" holds true, Kimberly. You are welcomed to share your ideas--we all appreciate that--but not your condescending criticism.

I wore high heels for 45 years and then had some minor surgery on my toes and to this day can't put my feet into high heels or any enclosed toe shoe!!! Every foot doctor I have seen advises me the reason for this is because I ruined my feet by wearing those high heels for 45 years!!!

without women squandering so much money on shoes, for what reason I can't figure out, our economy would go down . ladies, women, girls, keep spending your money foolishly .. we need ignorance in this economy . and so many females dress for others, good christian women, and hookers, dress as their men wish them to dress .forget the way you ruin your doby . be submissive, as michelle bachman is to her gay husband
