They should come out with a costume of a pothead pinko liberal. That should scare the pee out of everybody.

Maybe if they want to get a laugh ( or two ) put on a suit with a GOP campaingn sticker on the lapel, rub vasoline under their eyes so it looks like tears , and go as Speaker of the house ( or is it weeper of the house ) John Boehner who actually cries about mnay things. Imagine that, one of the most powerful people in government crying like a child--- and in public !!! What a GREAT costume idea , and what kind of message does crying in public send to the rest of the world.

You know what would be cool? If You stopped using Halloween costumes as a vehicle to take low blows at the opposing political party. You're obviously adults, act like it.

I would go as Palin, but the real version scares enough people on her own.

These are some of the most boring and expensive "costumes" I have ever seen. They don't even look like costumes, really, just expensive, silly outfits. Whatever hapened to making your own Hallowe'en costumes? I would be embarrassed to take my kids Trick or Treating in these vulgar trappings.

I think a costume of prissy, prancing super-twit Eric Cantor would scare more than the pee out of everyone. Happy Jesus Ween!

What happend to scaring the demons away? I am so glad my kids are more creative and actually dress up as scary things. When my daughter was three years old she wanted to be Jody from The Amnityville Horror movie...I dressed her up bullet hole in forhead and all. People were really really creeped out by a three year old girl with the dead makeup on. It was awesome!

I'd rather see people actually dressed as a cartoon character or someone famous than the girls who are just content to go as "sexy this", or "slutty that".

Right, nobody (or very few people) make costumes any more. It seems to be a lost art and, with it, went a lot of creativity. Seems people would rather spend money and buy someone else's ideas. Last year I had about 8 miniature Lady Gagas (all the same) and around 12 Captain Americas (all the same) trick-or-treating! I longed for one, just one, homemade costume -- and I finally got two! Two teenagers showed up at about 8:30 at night with charcoal beards and shabby clothes, dressed as hobos, and obviously just out for the candy! But I was so thrilled to see something homemade (even if it wasn't very creative), they got the rest of the candy!

I'm wearing a giant fake birth certificate for Halloween. I'm hoping to gather somewhere around $1B in cash donations.
