Tights: A Cool Weather Must

Even if you live and breath warm weather, you have to admit that the cooler months have their perks, as well. One such perk: tights. Jess Zaino, fashion guru and host of The Glam List, agrees.

"Tights cover all flaws," she says in the newest installation of The Glam List video series. "They have control top for your muffin top. And spider veins? What spider veins? Tights can make 60-year-old legs look like 16-year-old legs."

Another tights bonus is that they come in myriad colors, patterns and transparency, allowing them to fit seamlessly into just about any of your favorite outfits. Pair tights with knee high boots and the dresses you rocked this spring or keep things winter-chic with a long-sleeved shirt dress and ankle boots.

If you're a boot lover, you have to try Bootights. That's not a suggestion. It's a requirement. Though slightly more expensive than some, the tights are high quality and come with an amazing advantage: built in socks.

That means comfortable -- and warm -- days of walking around. Bootights come in various designs, such as black, fishnet, pinstripe and various opaque hues.

Also note that the sock heights also vary on each, allowing you to wear them with knee heights, mid-calf or ankle style boots. Find them both online and at Nordstrom for $30 to $40 a pair.
