Stocking Stuffers $10 and Under

Both as an adult and as a young girl, one of my favorite parts of the holiday gift giving season was stocking stuffers. I don't know what it is, but there's something about digging around in a giant sock filled with a seemingly ceaseless amount of goodies that gets the product lover in my super giddy.

Even a box filled with multiple small gifts -- something my grandmother perfected -- seems a more thrilling present to open compared to others. The excitement involved is akin to what I'd imagine a Mary Poppins' purse thrill ride would feel like. When you think you've finally reached the bottom, there's at least one more something to dig out.

The thing about stockings, in addition to being gloriously awesome to open, is that they're filled with inexpensive items (a perk for the buyer, of course). A few dollars spent on a lip balm here, a delicious candy bar for another dollar there, a quirky or innovative gift that'll get a few "oohs" and "ahhs" out of anyone watching. You know the drill.
