Indoor Grilles Have Everything Except the Charcoal

I'm ready for Sprcuisinart indoor griddle gr-4ning and the chance to pull my outdoor grill from storage and get cooking. Until that happy time, I'm glad there are quality indoor grilles to use; like this one -- the Cuisinart Griddler GR-4N ($100; was $235). As you might expect by the name, this grill is multifunctional: sandwich press, contact grill, breakfast griddle, and half and half. From burgers and hot dogs, bacon and eggs, to sandwiches, veggies, fish and fowl, this indoor grill will handle anything you throw at it (less the charcoal aroma, unfortunately). You get reversible, non-stick cooking plates, a floating hinge to allow for varying thicknesses of foods, a slideout drip tray, and dual adjustable temp controls to cook your meal to perfection. The housing itself is wipe-clean brushed stainless steel; the cook plates, drip tray, griddle scraper -- throw 'em in the dishwasher. Three year (limited) warranty. Good stuff.
