Four Ways to Reinvigorate Your Space

Looking for a way to redecorate your home without digging into your savings account? Set your remodeling project aside (at least temporarily) and instead consider lightly redecorating your space. You'd be surprised at just how much a new light fixture, pillow, rug or piece of art can transform a room.

Check out the following tips and shopping options below for inspiration.

P.S. Click on the arrows at the top of each viewing section to sift through the product options. Some of the products are quite expensive (definitely out of my budget), but there are some really good bargains to be had.

Throw Pillows
Add throw pillows to your sofa or chair. Choose a color from the room's scheme to make sure it's a good aesthetic fit. Get funky with a print, pattern or bold hue.

Area Rugs
It's true that a rug ties areas of a room together. For example, a large rug underneath your coffee table and couch will help it look like a more cohesive space. You can also try a small rug in the corner with a chair and lamp to create a cozy nook.

Accent Chairs
An accent chair adds a bit of flair to any room. Choose one that speaks to your design preferences. It's key for an accent chair to stand out.

Lighting
Lighting is extremely important both for visual purposes and practicality. Lamps and lighting fixtures are one of my favorite things to buy (and look at when visiting others' homes).

This is old news. These ideas have been around since people have lived in houses. A waste of time.
