Fall 2012 Trend Alert: Black Leather

Leather itself never seems to go out of style, especially since it can be crafted and molded into so many different products. From dyed leather accessories to nude leather shoes to the black leather garments that was so popular on the fall 2012 runway, you'll be hard pressed to find a season where leather isn't incorporated into the mix.

In addition to its versatility, leather is a resilient textile. That means it'll keep you warm and protected amidst chillier autumn temperatures. In terms of fall 2012 trends, black leather will be especially popular from late August through the new year.

Try a black leather skirt, black leather satchel or even a well-tailored, streamlined black leather jacket. A subtle incorporate black leather into your ensemble -- without spending too much -- is to find garments and accessories that use black leather as accents.
