Forget the teeny weeny twig-like heels adorning shoes at the moment. This Spring 2013 is all about the chunky heel. From Balenciaga to Bottega Veneta to Chanel, heavy, chunky heels stomped down the catwalk in Spring 2013's collections.

If you want to stay up on the trends, shop for wide and boxy heels and high platform shoes in the coming months. Also trending for spring 2013 footwear are lots of straps, contrasting colors and angular, architectural designs
