The Flip MinoHD: this pocket camcorder makes the perfect holiday gift
So I've been a big fan of the Flip camcorder for awhile. As an on the go Mom, I can appreciate something small and compact. And I'm a harried Mom, so capturing my kids on film doesn't happen too often - but having something like the Flip in my purse definitely increases the chances of my getting those special moments on tape.
I had the original Flip, but recently received a copy of the new Flip Video Mino HD for testing and I love it. The video quality is amazing - the HD definitely makes a difference, the picture is crystal clear.

A Lifesaver for Clumsy iPhone/PDAUsers!
I am an extremely clumsy person. I also recently bought an iPhone. Like oil and water, clumsiness and expensive electronics don't go well together, and when you throw exercise equipment into the mix, it can often spell disaster. My first video iPod suffered an early death when it flew off my treadmill right after I decided to take my speed up a notch without securing it first. This devastating (and expensive!) experience made me wary of enjoying my iPhone while working out, until I discovered the OtterBox Defender.Editor's Pick: 12 Christmas Gift Ideas
Gift ideas for the fashion loving, landscape liking, good food cooking busy Mom
While other people are enjoying the wonderful fall foliage in the Northeast, I am already making my Holiday lists and checking them twice. I have thought about, budgeted and planned with the precision of a surgeon what my children, husband, other family members and all essential personnel in our lives, like my children's teachers and caregivers, will be getting for Christmas.
As I was creating my lists, I found myself thinking of all of the things that are on my wishlist for Christmas. I came up with the 12 things I would love to get this year. While I don't expect to get all of these things, I certainly would love to get some of them and if my husband starts shopping now, that should be doable, right??
What American Shoppers Won't Give Up

In the down economy we're still spending, but more on needs than wants--depending on the city, that is.
Protect Your Home for Less
Picture this scenario: You're just gotten back from your relaxing vacation. When you walk into your home, you're surprised and shocked to discover that your home has been broken into! Maybe you locked your doors or maybe you relied on your Neighborhood Watch. Either way, there isn't really a fool proof way to protect your home from burglary. However, your house might be a little safer with a home security system. All you need is a monitor or TV to view what's happening in your home from around the world.
In honor of 26th Annual National Night Out (a drug and crime prevention event held on Aug. 4), here are five great security systems that are less than $300:
