For once, Apple doesn't steal the Consumer Electronics Show's thunder.LAS VEGAS--Want a new operating system? Microsoft delivered. A phone that takes the ideas behind the iPhone a bit further? Palm's got that. Fancy new set top boxes? Take a bow, Sling Media. How about a Web-connected TV? Samsung and Sharp are all over it. Sony even delivered the high-end, ultraportable PC, much like what some had predicted from Apple, with the Vaio Series P notebook.
