Baby Chronicles: The baby journal that makes your life easy

As much as I wanted to be the kind of Mom that keeps a neat house, has perfectly groomed children and scrapbooks each moment with the utmost perfection, that's just not me. I made it through about six months of my first son's life in a scrapbook and eventually gave up.

Back to School: Great Backpacks for Kids

My oldest son will be entering Kindergarten this fall. As I'm a newbie at this whole school Mom thing, I've been doing a lot of research on products for him to take with him as he boards the bus in a few weeks.

The main product that probably comes to any Mom's mind when it comes to sending their first child off to school is a backpack. And as I'm learning, "you've seen one backpack, you've seem them all" just isn't a true statement. What's important is finding the right backpack for your child. I'm finding Kindergarten tricky for us as my son's a pretty big kid. And he's going full day - so I want something substantial to hold his lunch box and papers, but I don't want to cripple the poor kid with too much weight and something bigger than his back can handle.
