Product#:88928483Didn't Work Right as an External Storage Drive w/My WinXP Pro System
I had heard that there were issues w/this type of 1.5 TB drive, but mainly in using them in RAID arrays. As I was going to place it in an eSATA enclosure and use it as a storage/backup drive, I figured it would be fine. Unfortunately, it slowed my system to a crawl, froze it and locked it up every time I attempted to copy data over to it - so I had to return it after two days. :(
