      Pros:
fun, especially as a 2-player game

      Cons:
      lack of depth

      Summary:
Cooking mama: cook off is a fun, one or two player game. It is a fun game to entertain your friends, families and guests -- with the two player mode. Worth the $29.99 that I paid for it.

      Pros:
      Controls

      Cons:
      Mini-games can be tedious

      Summary:
This is a good game to introduce those new to the Wii remote. You us it as a cooking utensil to chop, grate, slice, stir and roll. Although this game is basically a bunch of mini-games, it's a great game for Mama and the whole family! You can create real world dishes from different nations through cook off challenges. This is the kind of game to break out when you have friends over that are new to Wii gaming. Fun use of the Wii Remote. You'll have your guests entertained as they laugh at themselves and others as they play. Version 2 is being developed for the Wii, so grab the original at a discounted price!

      Pros:
Makes good use of the Nintendo Wii remote technology

      Cons:
      Price & difficult to play

      Summary:
Cooking Mama: Cook Off for the Wii is a little to complex for me - then again I'm not a cook. The game tends to be hard to understand (maybe it's just me, but I couldn't understand the speech very well as Mama talks to me trying to help me out). If you are good a cooking, you might like the game, but it's not for me. Others in the family LOVE it and have no problems understanding how the controls work or the speech throughout the game. So I think either a person will love this one or hate it. But I do think the price is a bit much when compared to other Wii games out there which are priced less and just as much fun.

      Pros:
      Physically interactive

      Cons:
      none

      Summary:
Interactive cooking using the wii remote. This game can be physically intensive - which makes it fun! Who ever thought that a video game would give you a workout! The two player mode is awesome - just watch out that you keep enough space between you and the other player!

      Pros:
Great game that will get you using your wii remote in ways you?ve never imagined. Many different receipes with many more to unlock and many different cooking techniques to master.

      Cons:
Like all the others, there seemed to be issues with the sensor picking up certain movements of the remote.

      Summary:
The graphics and sounds are good, not great, but you don?t buy the game to enjoy picturesque backdrops of the Swiss Alps. Your whole reason for buying the game is to bust out what cooking skills you may have and show your friends you could cook a hot dog better than them in two-player mode. Honestly, cooking skills aren?t required, but good ?mechanical aptitude? is the key. You?ll get a good workout and you?ll have a lot of fun doing it, but the game will leave you inspired to cook, but disappointed still in the real kitchen, if you?re anything like me.

      Pros:
      Use of the Wii controllers.

      Cons:
      Price.

      Summary:
I bought this game for my wife and she likes it. I played it once with her and got tired of it after "cooking" the first recipe. I havn't played it since. I though mama's voice was annoying, some reviewers didn't. I thought that WarioWare Smooth Moves was put together better than this game. The price tag is ridiculous $50! I would wait till it drops to the bargin bin for say $20.

      Pros:
Love the interactive moves you can do like stirring, cutting, chopping, peeling shrimp, etc. And the versus mode is the best part of the game.

      Cons:
Some of the instructions aren't clear to understand so you have to try out different ways to do some of the moves on your wii remote. Also, Mama's speech gets annoying after playing awhile.

      Summary:
This was a really amusing game. Mostly played it with groups of people so we loved to just compete against each other and trade off so we can unlock the more interesting recipes (the sushi one was great). The guys, girls, and kids all loved playing it. It's great to have a game that could entertain everyone. I wish there were more recipes, but I guess we'll just have to wait for Cooking Mama 2 next year. But anyway, this is one of the best competitive games I've played. I think the 50 bucks was worth it with all the fun everyone had with it.

      Pros:
very entertaining, especially for those who can't cook in real life. the wii remote works perfect for chopping, mixing, grilling, etc.

      Cons:
mama herself is annoying. the wii remote is not as responsive as it could be

      Summary:
after playing cooking mama for a few days, I'd have to say that i do not regret making this purchase. It is fun and entertaining. It is especially fun having the cook offs with the computer and, even more so, with a friend. The only complaints so far are mama herself (who seems to want to talk ALL the time) and the fact that the remote isn't as responsive as it could be. You have to often jerk the remote to have it respond as opposed to moving your hand around in a fluid, smooth, motion.

      Pros:
      2-player multiplayer support

      Cons:
      Some motion control problems

      Summary:
Cooking Mama for the Wii is a cute game that makes great use of the Wii's controls--chopping onions, peeling potatoes, etc. For fans of the DS version, this version is essentially the same game but has a ton of new recipes and 2 players can now face off. I prefer the DS version, since the Wii's sensor bar occasionally doesn't register some moves. I was expecting a lot more out of the Wii edition given the $50 pricetag (The DS version is just $20). A fun game, but I would wait for it to lower to $30 or less.

      Pros:
      Colorful graphics and fun multiplayer

      Cons:
      Controls can be frustrating

      Summary:
Cooking Mama: Cook Off is a unique 2 player family game designed specifically for the Wii. The Nintendo Wii version of Cooking Mama has some new dishes, new preparation techniques, and a new vs. mode. However, far worse an issue is that the added motion-sensing controls aren't nearly as engaging as the control scheme used on the DS, nor are they reliably responsive. I would not recommend paying more than $25 for Cooking Mama: Cook Off.
