    Price, DVD recorder and VCR combo in once package

    This unit doesn't have a NTSC/ATSC turner
  • Summary:
    The player is easy to set up and works well. The playback quality is good, but have problem with scratched disks seem to suffer from more skip than other players produce. The recording function easy to use and works extremely well. The remote is cheesy and response is slow. Not so good remote, get a different one.

    Just another great product from Toshiba. It is very hard to beat the quality and the price that Toshiba can sell there products for. Overall I rank this device 9 out of 10. Just because it would be nice to have the built in tv tuner.

    The ease of use and the screen detail is fantastic. Being able to watch the old VHS tapes and new DVD's from the same machine is very simple. When the whole system-surround sound, HD big screen, etc.- you are in a movie theater, without the high prices! Perfect combination for our system.

    It was priced much lower than other brands. It does the job well! We love it! I highly recommend this for consumers like us who have tons of vhs tapes lying around! It is easy to install also. What a treat!
