    The Fender Rumble 100 is an excellent bass amp for beginners and pros alike. It has a built-in direct box with line out and ground lift for connecting to a large PA system. I use it as a stage monitor when I'm playing bass or Roland electronic drums in several bands that I perform with. The amp has no problems keeping up with normal stage volume and really enhances the tonal quality of my Squire Standard Precision Bass. The 5 year warranty is a big plus, especially if there is an authorized dealer nearby so you don't have to ship it if it needed repair during that time. There's LED lighting which shines through the bottom port that pulses with what you're playing. It can be switched off but most audience members seem to enjoy the effect. Pictures of the amp don't show it but it does ship with casters, which makes moving it around much easier. Another big plus is the size and shape of the amp. It'll fit in the trunk of a compact car like my Honda Civic.
