      Summary:
      A great friendly toy we all love to play with as it makes the atmosphere very lively. We have fun watching it's body movements, particularly the eyes. I'd rate this as the best toy we ever had.

      Very lifelike in appearance, and animation.

      Cons:
      A little difficult to program. Instructions are complicated, and quite lengthy.

      Summary:
      I placed "Squawkers" on my Tiki bar, over the holidays. Every visitor was drawn to him, and had a ball having him perform his different antics. Using the remote control was especially amusing, having him say suprising things to unexpecting people. They'd all exclaim, "How does it do that?" It is hilarious to watch peoples' reactions to him, if you have had time to program him personally for them, and he starts saying thing that have special meaning just to them. My grandchildren think he is wonderful, and amazing. I love this item!!!

      Look very good, gave lots of fun to my granddaughter. Now is her favorite toy, very soft and pleasant to hold in you hand

      Instruction for kid should be made as to fun to read as well maybe put some jokes there

      Summary:
      My granddaughter saw the toy at the store and were waiting to get it as a Christmas present. Enjoyed playing with it but was depending for adults to explain how to play. Maybe When you first start using it the parrot should just tell instructions to the kids how to play with it or maybe it should be an additional button for instructions, so they can do everything by them self. If it would be self education bird it would be great. Maybe we need to have more different models with different colors as well and they can talk together .

      Bought for 5 and 3 year old granchildren who moved to Florida, they love it, it was worth every penny, it is so real, I would recommend this toy for all ages.

      The entire family loves Squawkers McCaw. I actually caught my 18 year old son talking to Squawkers like he was real! This is one toy that will last for years, and he can be beautifully displayed in any corner when not in use. GREAT BUY.

      An incredible and entertaining toy for children. It provided hours of entertainment for my granddaughter.

      Cons:
      Instructions for programming pre recorded messages were a little confusing.

      Summary:
      Although the price was hefty ($52), this little bird was a real treat and kept a room full of adults AND children entertained. We loved it and would recommend it but at a softer price. I just can't justify spending $52 for any kind of toy unless it bathes the child and puts it to bed!

      Summary:
      I bought this for my four-year-old daughter for a gift. I couldn't put it away when I first received it. It is a beautiful, large sized bird and looks very realistic. The material used on it feels like real feathers. I had put it in my closet to hide and each time I would open the door the bird would talk. I had to find the switch to turn it off, so she would not find her gift. When I was trying to find the switch in the back, I could feel the bones in its neck. The bird is truly lifelike, and I think my daughter will love it. If she doesn't, I still think it is really cool!

      Summary:
      Squawkers comes with batteries already installed, and the base is easy to setup. I've left it's feet tied to the branch because of some other reviews I've seen that mention that it sometimes has trouble gripping the stand. It works fine with most features, but for some reason, it's hard to make it open it's beak to "eat" the cracker. Other than that, it works perfectly, and I love the "What-ever" button.

      This is a totally cool parrot. My toddler son loves this parrot and is fascinated with it. It talks, it whistles, dances, laughs, coos, etc. The eyes blink and the bird is so realistic!

      Cons:
      Motion sensor sets it off....scares the heck out of you at times. Price is a bit steep.

      Summary:
      Totally cool parrot! This is a lot of fun for the entire family. The bird is so lifelike, and doesn't just sit there...he dances, laughs, coos, squawks, and does so many things...he's almost real! You can record your own sayings, that the parrot will repeat in his voice...so fun, can spend hours playing with this toy. My toddler son is in awe of it too. Awesome toy!

      I just ordered this toy for my grandson who is five and a half. I watched him play with it for hours at a friend's house, so I already know it will be a big hit. Like a lot of little boys, my grandson is really into exotic animals. When you combine the terrific animation and the life-like appearance of this toy with my grandson's imagination, the result is that he will feel like he owns the "real McCaw" (pun intended!) I can't wait for the holidays to give it to him.
