    Super Surge Protector

I am not sure if this is necessary. You probably could get away with a good conventional surge protector. This works well as an expensive surge protector. It also is supposed to decrease noise in the power lines to improve the quality of the picture and sound. If it does improve things, it is minimal. I was skeptical when I bought it, but it does give me peace of mind that my expensive components are well protected.
