User Reviews for
Infinity BETA C250 2-Way Dual 5" Center Channel Speaker

  • By sfo02sj   03/26/2008 Very Good
  • Pros:
Solid build, high quality unit, wooden box.
  • Cons:
Little big (in my case), I have to mount on wall instead of putting in front of TV. The metal grate is silver in color, which is not quite match with my blacks system, but it's ok.
  • Summary:
The sound is way better compare to my old Onkyo center speaker. It provided full range frequency and sometimes I hardly recognize where the sound coming from front speakers or from center speaker.

  • Pros:
Good size, good build, works well in my 5.1 home theater setup with infinity CS60 in wall speakers.
  • Cons:
    None
  • Summary:
This center channel works great. The sound is crisp, and I have no problem understanding what people are saying. It is not too big, so it fits perfectly in my TV stand which has an 18 inch wide space for it. I have no problems with this.

  • Pros:
Matches my Beta 50's, good sound, metal grills, solid construction, price
  • Cons:
    weight
  • Summary:
I am currently building a new home theater system piece by piece. I first purchased a pair of Beta 50's (see my review). Now I needed a new center channel speaker. This speaker was the obvious choice after listening to the Beta 50's. I have it placed on a shelf (OmniMount CCH1B) on top of my 60" Sony projection LCD TV. It matches the color and style of the Beta 50's. It has gold speaker wire connectors (same as the Beta 50's). The sound quality is superb. The highs are clear and voices during movies are very real. The construction is solid but it does weigh a lot. I wanted to get the C360 but it is too big. The shelf seems to be holding very well...I like the metal grills too. I have kids. I recommend this speaker to anyone who is looking to replace their center channel or starting from scratch.

  • Summary:
Spent 2 full hours listening to music. This Center Speaker replaced a very fine Acoustech HT-65, which in is larger and has larger 6" drivers. but it does not compair to this Infinity C 250 Dual 5" Center Channel Speaker. On the Infinity C 250 , the highs are so clear, its simply a joy to listen. when combined with my Infinity Beta 50's, Infinity Sub. you can't tell which speaker is on until you put your ear directly in front of the speaker....AMAZING!!! the wife is so impress with the Infinity Beta line of speakers she wants me to replace the very large Acoustech surround Speakers
