      Pros:
      Good design. Powerful motor. Superior chopping and blending.

      Cons:
      Lid is a little difficult to get off, suppose this will become easier over time.

      Summary:
      We burned through two $30 blenders and finally purchased this one. This is a serious kitchen appliance - very powerful and well-designed. My only serious complaint may be that it's the first blender I've needed to read the instruction manual for!

      Pros:
      Lot's of power, great smoothies

      Cons:
      Lid a little hard to get off and it smells like something is burning inside when running at max power.

      Summary:
      This blender is good looking, BIG jug. I hope the burn smell goes away after a couple of times and It doesn't actually burn. So far it's works great and I will be using it a lot more during the summer.

      Summary:
      So far, the Bosch Variable Speed Blender seems like a great product. It crushes ice very quickly and the motor is amazingly quiet. The speed control is very easy to use.
