Pros:
If you're not a true audiophile (and few of us are), then this is more than enough subwoofer for your typical small to medium home theater setup or PC gaming rig.
Cons:
Not a high end component. Don't recommend it for a large home theater setup.
Summary:
This sub worked well with the other Polk components that I have. R15 surrounds and R300 left and right. Just need to get the center to complete the set for 5.1 setup. Would recommend to anyone looking for a low budget but high quality set up.

Pros:
Sound is awesome for movies, and video games.
Cons:
Volume control on the back of the machine. Bad instruction manual in regards to Power Maintenance.
Summary:
Great value for the sound your getting. I have a Yamaha 5640 reciever and Bose Acoustimas speakers that are over 5 years old. I replaced the Bose Sub when I purchase the reciever and WOW. Concerns: the volume control on the back of the sub. Once you have it right its great but you will constantly adjust for the first week. Two, the instruction manual says nothing about how to set the on/off/auto power switch. I think since the light is red when the reciever is off that I finally have it on Auto. Other than those two little things, if you are looking for a good sub for under $299, buy this one.
