    DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!

    We purchased this fridge new from Lowes in July of 2011 and have been trying to get the ice maker fixed since November of 2011. Its been almost 8 months and the repare man has shown up 1 out of 5 times scheduled. 5 days off work to have him not show up 4 of them is unacceptable. After the last no show we contacte the repare man and asked for his managers number. When I called it, it turned out to be a McDonalds number! Not his manager. The original complaint was filed through Samsung. Their warrenty center in Atlanta contacted us to schedule repares and thats where everything fell apart. The repare man did not show. Contacted the call center they promoissed to call back after they contacted the repareman. No call back. This happens every time. After 8 months we contacted Samsung again and they told us the fridge was out of warrenty! Then when we explained again this was not a new problem they told us there was no call center in Atlanta and they did not know who we had been dealing with. DO NOT BUY ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES! I will never do it again. Samsung should be ashamed and embarrassed.
