User Reviews for
Plantronics S12 Headset System

  • By kfergus   05/07/2007 Good
  • Pros:
Easy to set up and easy to use.
  • Cons:
Flimsy construction. Bit of echo, not as clear as handset.
  • Summary:
Overall, this is good value for the price. The cushion on the earpiece only works with the headband. It should also be attached when you are just using the earpiece clip. Without the cushion, the external noise is not cancelled.

  • Pros:
multi-purpose ear piece/headset, price, easy to use
  • Cons:
takes a little bit of time to set up
  • Summary:
This headset system is perfect for any office and easy to use. You can switch easily from the headset to the earpiece, or to the regular phone even when it's connected.

  • Pros:
    hands-free, headset rest, amp
  • Cons:
need a separate telephone to hook it up to
  • Summary:
i am purchasing this for work @ home, i'm on the phone for 8 hrs a day, and was esp lookin for incoming volume adjuster, not sure if this one has a good one, but the price is comparably reasonable among other qualified headsets, and it was also recommened by my boss.........

  • Pros:
    Does the job
  • Cons:
Price, echo in the earpiece - you can hear yourself talking in the headset, the earpiece swivel
  • Summary:
This uses the same firefly headset in other plantronics products. It's only difference is the connector. The unit is overpriced for what it does, but it *does* what it says it will do. Too bad there is echo in the headset. It's very distracting when talking. I lose interest in plantronics headsets like this one every time I use another one of their products that use the firefly-like headset. Another issue is that the earpiece will always shift and wont stay in one place when using the over-the-head method. It's difficult but, for close to 75 dollars, try to look for a cheaper option.
