There are so many skin care options is it really necessary to visit a doctor's office to have healthy vibrant skin?
As my age creeps up, I'm starting to think more and more about having a solid skin care routine. Trying out different cleansers, toners, exfoliants and moisturizers is not only costly but can be pretty time consuming.
Currently, I use a gentle cleanser like Lancome's Purifying Foaming Cleanser and follow it with AVON's Age Repair Elixir and their Ageless Results Renewing Day Cream. The elixir comes in an ultra cool gold bottle and is a little pricey at $54, but is worth every drop. It honestly makes your skin look and feel noticably better in just a few days. And the Day Cream is nice because it is non greasy and contains SPF 15. I can definitely see a difference in my skin.
Can maintaining healthy skin be this easy or is it necessary to go the route of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and succumb to botox? Share your skin care secrets!

3. I am a gentleman in my late 20's and recently started researching for health and beauty tips for my wife since I have free time at work. I ended up buying her a book about tips about skin care and another book about basic ideas on how to live a healthier and happy lifestlye.

4. I need help for skin over 50. I have been looking after it all my life, but over the past 2 or 3 years I have been too busy with my construction job to give it the care it needs. Lines around the mouth, fat pockets or puffiness under my eyes, and an upcoming double chin are starting to get to me, so what can I do about these?

8. I will tell you that one of the biggest things that someone can do to look younger is to exercise and eat healthy. I also believe that being happy keeps you younger looking too. Laugh lines always look good! :):)

9. I am in my mid-fifties and have found a wonderful product. It is from Trillium (organic)Face Polish. I have been using this for several months and my skin looks great. It has even helped the clogged pores my dermatologist said she needed to treat with a mild acid!

11. I am 37 years old. I use cold cream to wash off my makeup and then put sugar in more cold cream and gently scrub the rest of my face. It is a cheap way to exfoliate. Any inexpensive ways to take care of puffy eyes?

12. I have tried many products. The one I have had the best results with is Olay. I use the Regenerist line specifically the sculpting cream and the serum, both of which are amazing! I just bought the new Regenerist wrinkle and sealing treatment to use in conjuction with the other two and am anxious to see how it works. Will report back my findings!

13. I have been using Nu Skin's small galvanic spa (featured in German Vogue)and 180 system. At 52, I have noticed many fewer lines, smaller pores, brighter skin and a lift of my eyebrows, cheeks and jawline. These items are truly amazing. The company, I hear, has made a discovery (to be used in products later in 2008) that will dramatically slow the aging of skin. I think what proves that Nu Skin's products are not hype is the dramatic results you can see with the galvanic spa in the first 10 minutes of its use. Everybody should know about this.

17. One of the things I have found in life that is so important is your skin. At 45 my skin had become very dry and my scalp flaked and itched all the time.
I had tried craft soaps from all over the USA and Canada and all are better than store bought soap but I have not found any that compares to BobSkinSoap. It has so many ingredients (around 35?compared to 3-4 in most craft soaps) in BobSkinSoap that are good for your skin and hair. BobSkinSoap uses Extra Virgin Olive Oil as the primary ingredient.
I now use BobSkinSoap FOR EVERYTHING. I use it on my hair, for shaving my legs and bathing. I actually threw all my other hair and skin products away about 5 years ago when I started using BobSkinSoap. I actually save money because all I need is BobSkinSoap. I do not even use deodorants anymore as the essential oils in BobSkinSoap make your whole body smell really good. I also use the Lip Balm and the Hand & Foot Balm for anything that gets a little dry like elbows, hands and even my nose and face lines.

18. I will be 59 in July and totally understand the needs of over 50 skin care. I discovered Arbonne Internatinal Anti-Aging skin care products two years ago. Before Arbonne I tried using everything from Lancome, Mary Kay, Avon,Oil of Olay, etc., etc... (Well, you get the idea)
My skin looked and felt better after the first use of Arbonne's products. After three days, my husband noticed that there was "something different about me". They keep adding new things to the anti-aging line and I'm still loving it. I no longer have "character lines" around my eyes, mouth or forehead and my skin has a nice even glow. Best part, I buy these products at wholesale and they are delivered to my door. It doesn't get any better than this!

19. For the last year I have used all the Mary Kay products which have been around for years helping women look younger and more beautiful. They have most if not all the products mentioned and have recently added the mineral powder foundation that is super. My skin looks and feels great. I will continue to use this until someone can prove there is something better without paying a fortune.
