    The Bigs is 2K Sports' entry into the "arcade baseball" genre, whereby real players on real teams play a game that resembles baseball-- but not quite. There is an emphasis on making the game fast and fun to play, without being particularly deep. Expect lots of home runs, fireworks, turbo meters, etc. Personally, I thought it was a great game-- it wasn't quite as over the top as it could have been, but it absolutely kept the action going and made for a fun, quick game of baseball. There aren't a lot of deeper modes, like season/franchise modes, so if you're into that, you might want to keep looking. But if you want a fun, pick up and play baseball game, this one is definitely worth checking out.

    The Bigs is an enjoyable arcade style baseball game. It's a great alternative to the simulation style games, but don't expect to play for long periods of time. This game is designed for pick up and play appeal, and for the multiplayer. Batting and pitching are both satisfying. You can't go wrong with The Bigs. I'm looking forward to the next one.

    this is a great baseball game for those of us who don't like simulations but enjoy the sport. you can play 3,5,7, or 9 inning games and the controls are great. it's easy to pick up and learn and fun to play with friends.
