Hand-crafted using local resources and labor with no outsourced manufacturing, The Study is constructed with partially recycled steel, wood and Richlite®, a paper grade phenolic material derived from FSC certified sources. Like every item in the TOKENnyc collection, The Study is designed, developed and handcrafted in Brooklyn, NY. Richlite® is a durable material made from partially recycled paper and phenolic resin. The paper used by Richlite® is certified by the (FSC) Forest Stewardship Council. This adds to the sustainability of Richlite®, as it comes from readily renewable wood resources, managed in a way that allows for growth to exceed harvest by 47% in North America.
