Prices should plummet on these since the 8000 Series has been Discontinued . . .

I saw a brief blurb the other day that Samsung had or are releasing the 9000 Series. Since then I am seeing more and more threads popping up where current users and new buyers can't find online info or that Samsung has dropped the 8000 Series from their website. Making many quite concerned if the 8xxx Series will continue to be supported. Samsung says yes, but they dropped my HL50A650 DLP (phenomenal machine) like a lead balloon the second they released their new LED models and there has been no firmware updates or any feature movement on it since contrary to them telling me that there would be.
