  • Sherwood's VR-670 offers the excitement of home theater in a streamlined, user-friendly package that's simpler to set up than most all-in-one systems. It includes a DVD player/receiver, two wall-mountable speakers, and a subwoofer. The speakers and sub work together with Dolby Virtual Speaker processing to create a spacious soundstage with all your favorite films. This compact system makes a great choice for small- to medium-sized viewing rooms. Put one in your bedroom or den for space-saving yet room-filling sound you'll be able to hook up this four-piece system in a matter of minutes. The DV...D player/receiver connects to your TV quickly and easily, and since the '670 has no rear speakers, there are no wires to run to the back of the room. For added convenience, the multibrand remote can also control your TV.

  • Summary:
We bought this system after Buying a 5 speaker system for our family room. This one's in the bedroom (didn't want to run wires through my bedroom) Sounds Great! Would buy it over the 5 speaker any day. set it up to Shrek 2 (when they ride into town you hear every footstep every background sound) its realy a joy to watch a movie on it.

  • Pros:
Simplicity of design and operation. Performance for nearly all occasions. Quality of sound at high and low levels.
  • Cons:
    None.
  • Summary:
This is a new breed of 'small' home theatre system in that it has a seriously designed audio amplification section and its interpretation of Dolby 5.1 sound from DVD is simply impressively. What more can one ask? Perhaps adding an additional input to take in digital audio sound from Set Top Boxes with such outputs would make it truly perfect.

  • Cons:
To many wire connections to move around and remember where they go.
  • Summary:
Me and my boys enjoy the product. We have family movie nights and turn the home theater system to its max level, it's like being in a real theater.Thank You.

  • Pros:
    The sound is great
  • Cons:
    Non so far
  • Summary:
I have a smaller room and didn't want to go to high dollar five speaker system so I desided to try this system.I could not be any happier and it really does sound like I have speakers behind me.I believe if I had a more expensive unit I would not have been happier.Bottom line is I love it and hope it is trouble free.
